I Wish...

I wish I had wings so i can fly like a free bird...
I wish I could just fly away with no fear. And feel the cold wind touching my face and passing through my hair.

I wish I could fly with wings that knew no boundaries, or horizon, that seems
to be far away.
I wish I had wings with which I can fly to the lush green fields and the blue sky, and listen to the tweeting of birds...

I wish I had wings to fly high and wild.
Across the sky I will stretch and fly so high that no wind can hold me.

I wish I had wings so I can see my loved ones every day of my life.
I wish I had wings, then every day won’t be the same and every morning
will be different.

I wish I had wings then every flight would lead me to a new destination...
I wish the time had wings that day just flies off with the speed of light,
and I can go back to my dreams every night.

Again it’s a wish and wishes keep changing with every day.
So, I wish that every day I wake up to make a new wish and fulfill it...

Yercaud Amidst The Hill & Forest
We pack our bags and all set to explore the Yercaud a hill station in salem district. High-spirited and happy about this trip from past 2 months, finally we are on our way to explore...

As we have decided to take the bus route and then go all by our own. The volvo A/C was a comfortable ride just like a suite room in hotel was awakened at 3:00 by the voice of the counter announcing salem has arrived. In our half sleep we jumped out of the cosy sleeper and headed our way to Yercaud.

Its an hour ride from salem on local bus, and the bus ride was awesome with ghats and around 20 hair-pin bends on the way to the top of the hill.

When you look out of the window will be amazed to see Nature at its Best. With fog covered mornings and the ghats truly you found yourself in the lap of the Nature. Lovely!

We arrived at our hotel Shevaroys at morning 6:00 AM was greeted by warm receptionists . Then we are checked in our room and meanwhile we explore that the hotel itself was located at a beautiful place and ccenter of city. And has plantation walk and 2 restaurants all inside the shevaroys campus.

After freshening up we head our way to the complimentary breakfast, which was delicious. Then we come to our room to sleep and get ready to set out. As we see our room is attached with a balcony from where a creeper and plantation can be seen.

The chirping of birds and the cold breeze just make you forget everything and sing your favorite song.
I am falling in love with this place.

As we set out to see bear cave, highest point and lady's seat, rose garden we couldn't stop admiiring the beauty of this small hill station and click and capture the beautiful memories.

After a round trip to one side of yercaud we come back too our hotel and were informed that the hotel has arranged for a musical night amidst the forest. Nothing could have been better than listening to music. After the musical evening we make our way to dinner at The Red Dragon - A chinese cuisine.

Next day we got up with sound of birds chirping and the fresh breeze making us feel so excited about our Yercaud trip.

Next day being a sunday we start our way from Retreat church and Pagoda point located at the peak of the hill - the highest point. And we then go to try to get a new experience All-Terrain Vehicle - which was FUN and EXCITING! we go to Montfort school which was a well-equipped and high standard school nurturing young minds.

Now as we walked down the city to find simple local crowd who were away from all the hussels and buzz of city life.

Now, the time has come to bid good-bye to yercaud and take the beautiful memories with us forever.

Really a beautiful place and a memorable journey in April 2012.

Restlessness

This feeling has crept in me from quite sometime.
Not able to come out of it I have tried so hard
Something is missing deep within me
I wanna change things around me but its not happening
A mix of emotions rush into my heart, where should I go
My dear Lord, the unanswered prayers and questions
That take me to world of loneliness, and i juggle with the thoughts and emotions
I wanna pen down the thoughts in my mind
But unable to find the right word
I keep tossing and turning in my bed
Oh! I feel so restless and helpless whole night
Wanna dream, but my heart filled with emotions and the fear of the unknown
Stops me as the wait for the unknown continues
Every morning I look out with the hope the wait for the unknown comes to an end
So that i could put to rest the restlessness inside me

New rays of hopes as we usher into 2012

As i sit and watch the day passing by the last day of  2011, many thoughts cross across my mind. All of us with new hope and faith of brilliant year, we stand at the gate of this new year. Everyone makes a resolution to make this coming year happening and make up to the short comings of the previous year.

Some resolutions are fulfilled and others happen to be the victim of our laziness and other work priorities.

Human nature tend to keep delaying things, until it comes to catch your neck.

So. make up your mind as the clock ticks twelve and the party spirit raises to its peak. Remind yourself of the 10 checks to be done in 2012:

  1. Work out and get in shape
  2. Bring a change in the life of the underprivileged
  3. Take time to spend with your family and friends
  4. Travel to new destination
  5. Spend time with nature
  6. Try a new thing for the first time
  7. Pursue your dreams
  8. Leave your worries behind and sleep for 8 hours a day
  9. Use your words and action carefully
  10. Explore the world around

Resolution and promises are meant to be fulfilled, not to delayed and carried for next year. Hope for future is what keeps you moving forward.

Amazing week

Awesome! was last week of my life. The week started with a melodious musical concert of Deutsche Philharmonie Merck on 3 Oct 2011. The night with soul stirring music and an orchestra of 80 musicians. Spreading the soothing music at the chowdiah memorial hall and the hall was filled with enthusiastic music lover. The musical troupe played flawlessly Beethoven and Mozart.  Starting from the first note to the ending note Deutsche Philharmonie Merck  did not lose their precision and pitch. Oh! Lovely my heart was shouting with joy and hands clapping in applause and mind asking that the musical night could have lasted a little longer.
With a night to remember came next morning all filled with festive spirit. Office colleagues discussing about Ayudh Pooja, which color saree to wear and are you coming or not. The long awaited holidays making the week more special and my plan to spend time with my friend in Chennai made me all thrilled and happy.
Next day Wednesday started with a bit tension of about how to drape the sari. But soon the tension was gone with the help of my colleague. She helped me drape the sari making me all comfortable and gorgeous. My sis beautiful sari and jewellery helped me to get the gorgeous look of the day. Everyone was complementing me you have that “awesome figure and height that we can crave for, you are looking pretty put some kajal nazar na laage.”  Took snaps and captured most of the beautiful moments.

Then on Thursday journey to Chennai began with the bus coming 1 hr late made me sure that I am travelling. Oh my friend came to pick up me on the half way telling me looking great in the pink top (bought by chechi from Goa). Reached her home she made vegetable biriyani for me we had our lunch together, were feeling lazy so thought to take a nap and lot of chit-chat. Decided to go out on the next day (sat). We went to Ampa skywalk entertained our taste buds with Baskin Robbins ice cream. After spending some time decided to walk back to home and then make our way to Anna nagar. As we stepped out of the mall the raindrops started falling eventually leading to a pouring rain.
Our humble umbrella couldn’t protect us completely from the mighty rain making us half drenched. So we decided to pause and start our shopping masti after rain is stopped. We set out after an hour on our way to Anna nagar and our first place was Nalli’s in the quest of buying a beautiful Pure silk or cotton saree for mom. We were totally disappointed and confused with the collection.

To taste the typical tamilian food, we went to the famous sarvanna  bhavan. The place as usual was crowded and always made our taste buds enjoy the taste of masala dosa and 14 idlies. Just the thing which you miss in the Bangalore udupi restaurants.
We couldn’t  restrain to single plate and ordered the next round, but this time the waiter was done with us bringing the bill after the first order, but we were determined to get the next order and make our taste buds enjoy the rich thick sambhar and soft little idlies just melted in the mouth. Masala dosa without a drop of oil making it more tasty and yummy snacks of sarvanna bhavan and once more proving the speciality of serving the best masala dosas and idlies. Spending a quality time and fulfilling our appetite we started our hunt for the best things.

On Sunday i had my bus to catch from Chennai bus terminus saying bye to my friend. I boarded the bus at 12:31 from Chennai. A super comfortable bus, for the first time made me like bus journey. Nice soft seats with good leg space and good stops.
They just make their statement very true sleep like a baby. Making you full relaxed and calmed doesn’t feel tired at all. The bus reached Bangalore at 7:00 PM. My sweet jiju came to pick me up and chechi made nice hot chapattis and pork curry.

Just a memorable week passed by...

Along life road i found a true friend

Dedicated to a friend, who has been around me in joy and sorrow.

It was there from the time i took the first breath of life. And i grew with it an involuntary action, which sometimes make u achieve so many things. For a small child this friend helps get attention, its favourite toy, or fulfil his or her wish. It has been part of my and anyone life from the very first day.

We never understood, when we are scared, in fear, in pain not only in difficult times. Its always there to share good times when we are happy, filled with emotions, on achievement.

A friend who always remains hidden. When the time comes it just rolled down and helps us feel lighter and better. Every time this friend gives u a comfort. As if rain has washed away my momentary fears and cleansed my soul. But, this friend never leaves me alone it is always with me.

Its the hidden emotion which is sometimes not in your control. This friend accompanies us when i leave my dear ones. But, sometimes this friend just shows up and putting me in difficult situation. How should i introduce my friend? The well-wisher who has been there from my childhood, with whom i grew up, now i find difficult to explain to others.

Every time my friend appears i want to spend time only with this sweet friend. The best friend who, understand my needs and wants to fulfil every desire of mine. It comes when i am talking with God, asking to grant my desires.

Grateful to this true friend...

anna ka jaadu chal gaya

Anna the Great

One old man can create a revolution and shake the whole India. I didn’t believe when the agitation began. Anna, a common man like any of us reading this blog a guy with no supernatural power. Alone he stirred up the whole nation and awakened the sleeping lions inside every Indian citizen. Now, the Lion is roaring on the streets with anna for just one common cause “corruption free India.” Mera bharat Desh jise sone khi chidiya ke naam se jana jata tha. Lota do mujhe woh bharat desh pukar raha hai bachha baccha.

Now also will our govt. sleep, which its continuing from the past 65 years leading the country to ruins. Or will it stand up and answer the 1 billion citizens of India.
Its eighth day that our dear Anna Hazare has entered his fast, his health is deteriorating. Isn’t it a concern for our govt. Has government become so shameless and irresponsible who can’t stand up for the good of the country, then what for we elect every 5 years a govt to rule the nation. Getting a fat paid salary and all the luxuries of being a VIP.

When it is unable to give a happy peaceful and retired life to a 72 years jawan who fought for the country without thinking about himself. Now, also fighting to make this country free from the deadly virus called “Corruption,” which has no antidote. Anna in human form has come as an antidote giving hope to the billion struggling common man. The common man who steps out of the house thinking of the challenges he has to face the whole day.

When will now our Govt. awake to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill, or will it realize by taking the life of this great old man. Jago Sarkar Jago ab nahi toh kab?
Today TOI Kiran Bedi chided the government, saying it "took MPs just five minutes to clear the bill to raise their salaries, but it's finding it difficult to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill in five to six days." Dear government, we are waiting for you to awake from this kumbhkaran khi need.

Ae mere watan tujhe salaam
Jisne har jhulm saha phir bhi apne aap utt kada huya
Jaha sarkar ne vaishy dharindo khi tarah loota
Aur development ke naam par har tarf corruption ko pahuchaya

Ae mere watan tujhe salaam itne muskilo me bhi tune musukuraya
Is watan khi miti ko Anna jaise anmol ratan diye
Hum tumare saat hai ae mere desh ke laal
Anna tum jiyo hazzaro saal

Is lokpal bill ka palan ho jaldhi yehi prathana hai meri
Ae mere watan tujhe saalam
